Golden Glee Before After

TA DA! Another new design!

Golden Glee – This is a Clouded Sulphur Butterfly on “birds foot” blooms.  This butterfly is named “Sulphur” due to its yellow color.  Sadly, this butterfly only lives for a short few days. The “bird’s foot” wildflower is a trefoil that grows wild on my property.  I love this flower as it is so bright and cheerful and the pollinators love it!  They grow in huge clusters and absolutely light up my yard!

Yellow butterfly specifically symbolize happiness and creativity.  This butterfly encourages us to cherish life and all of it’s spectacular treasures!

The butterfly is the Celtic Zodiac for those born between September 30th thru October 27th.  Those born under this sign are said to be extremely social hence the phrase, “Social Butterfly”.   They are known to have a joyful personality and a cheery disposition.  They are intuitively empathetic and people are drawn to their positive aura.

The Mandarin Chinese word for butterfly is "hu-tieh". "Tieh" means "70 years", therefore butterflies have become a symbol for a long life.

If a butterfly crosses your path, it means good luck.

In the Japanese culture butterflies are thought to be representative of young maidens and marital bliss.

In ancient Greek the word for butterfly is "Psyche", which translated means "soul". Butterflies also symbolize: Resurrection, Transition, Celebration, Lightness, Time and Soul.

Symmetry is another manifestation of the balance of Yin and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i.  Ch’I is a river pristine energy, a power that not only flows through us, but unites our tangible self, our body, thoughts, emotions and sensations to our intangible, our spirit and consciousness.  Ch’I is the crux of our pure self.
