Fragile Essence

Fragile Essence - This is a bouquet of sweet peas from my
garden. These delicate and fragrant flowers symbolize delicate pleasure,
blissful pleasure, withdrawal and a fond farewell.

Nurturing Mother Nature's creations from flora to wildlife
is my solace. I feel more at home in nature than I do anywhere else. Nature's
world is void of hate, judgement and stress. Mother Nature and her world exudes
benevolence and just accepts and co-exists without malice.

I have been feeling over exposed and vulnerable lately,
leaving me emotionally exhausted. My cure is to withdraw from humanity and
immerse myself in Mother Nature's world where I feel safe and accepted.

I am grateful for each of you and the support, encouragement
and kindness your unselfishly give. I appreciate your understanding when I
withdraw and your welcoming comments as I ease back into the civilization. Side
tangent - I find it ironic we call it civilization when the definition of the
word is that society has reached advanced social development and refinement yet
there is hate, violence and indifference all over the so called developed
world.

Thank you so much for your support through my artistic
journey. As with most of my designs and titles there is personal, profound
emotion in the title and design itself. Each design is very personal to me and
sharing it is like bearing my unguarded soul.

I respectfully request that if you feel the need to be
negative or judgmental that you refrain from sharing and commenting on my
posts. You most certainly have the right to your opinion but please keep it
away from my page. Negativity really tears my heart up and sends me into an
emotional tailspin. Sharing myself and my artwork it is hard enough as it is
and leaving myself exposed and unprotected is terrifying. I do not possess the
skills or the strength to ignore the comments. Please be kind to everyone!
Love and peace,
Mel

BEEloved

Before and After and a New 2019 design

Title: BEEfriend – This is a tricolored bumblebee AKA Orange Belted bumblebee on a common tansy wildflower.  This wildflower is call a ray flower because it has no petals.   I love all bees but the orange belted is my favorite.  They are so friendly and docile and I adore his colors.

Bee Meaning and Symbolism – Many cultures honor the bee and it is noted in many ancient cultures and mythologies.  My favorite of course is the ancient Greek Goddess of Bees, Melissa.  Melissa means honeybee in Greek and she also cared for the infant Zeus.  She was turned into a beautiful bee by Zeus.

In ancient Egypt bees were a symbol of royalty and supremacy.

The Chinese consider designs of a bee sitting on a flower to represent courtship, marriage and love.   They also these design to represent a maiden’s purity and fertility due to the bee’s pollination ability.   The Chinese culture also considers the bee to represent cheerfulness, fortuity, affluence and harmony.
The overall symbolism of bees include: Love, Life, Order, Development, Knowledge, Beauty, Family, Happiness, Mystery, Sweetness, Nurturing, Community, Efficiency and Communication.
