Keep The Faith - The iris commonly means wisdom, hope, trust, and courage.  Blue irises symbolize faith and hope.  The iris is the February birth flower and the 25th wedding anniversary flower.

The iris inspired the fleur-de-lis ⚜️, a decorative symbol used by French royalty. It originated in the Middle Ages. During this time the fleur-de-lis became tied to the French Monarchy, and appeared on their coat of arms, coins, and shields.

The iris's mythology dates back to Ancient Greece.  The Greek Goddess of the rainbow is Iris. Iris means rainbow in Greek.  Iris embodied the rainbow and acted as connection between heaven and earth.
