Mom and Dad nurture and raise their annual single egg and chick together. Their vivid color does not come from a desire to stand out in a crowd but is a result of their diet. The pigments in their crustacean diet give their feathers their fantastic color. They also are members of intimate flamingo communes within their enormous colonies that can number in the thousands.

🦩Our brightly colored feather friends utilize the space of air, water and land with equivalent proficiency which of course represents their symbolism of versatility!

🦩Interesting facts about these beauties is of course they are devoted to their partner for life which can last between 20 to 30 years! They can fly in speeds of 35 miles per hour and will travel distances in excess of 300 miles!
