Mesmerizing Memories- This is a bouquet of forget-me-nots placed on an orange gladioli.
The forget-me-not symbolizes sincere and everlasting love, faithful love even through tribulations, and a timeless bond. The forget-me-not is said to bring fond memories you shared with someone. It is also a symbol to be mindful of the ones you love in life and to create perpetual joyful memories while you are blessed to have them in your life.
There is a German myth about a couple taking a romantic stroll along the Danube River. They spot the beautiful blue blooms of the forget-me-not. The handsome and romantic gent attempts to pick a bouquet for his love, but tragically slips and is swept away by the river’s fierce current. As he is carried away by the current, he cries out to her, “Forget me not my love!” It is believed this is how the flower was named.
The Gladioli symbolizes strength and integrity. It also represents infatuation. If you gift a gladiolus to someone one you are telling them that have injected your heart with passion. The gladioli is a flower of drama. I thought it was a good pairing with the forget-me-nots.
Symmetry is another manifestation of the balance of Yin and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i. Ch’I is the crux of our pure self.
Delightful Darling – A bouquet of daisies, pansies & columbine on a bed of ferns.
A yellow daisy flower represents friendship, joy, cheerfulness and well wishes. The daisy is also the birth flower for April.
The word daisy comes from the Old English word dægeseage, meaning "day's eye". The daisy was thusly named because at night the petals close over the yellow center and during the day they re-open or “awaken”. This is how the fun saying “as fresh as a daisy” was created; it infers that someone had a restful sleep.
The word daisy also made its way into other slang words and phrases. In the 1800s, the phrase “ups-a-daisy” was commonly used to encourage children to get up when they fell. This eventually transformed into “oopsy daisy” or “whoops-a-daisy” — an exclamation after a stumble or mistake.
The daisy is actually two flowers in one, called a composite flower. The yellow center is called the disc floret and the outer petals are the ray floret. Because they are actually two flower in one, blending it such beautiful harmony the also symbolize true love!
Pansy’s symbolize thoughtfulness, remembrance and love. The pansy is also considered a flower of remembrance, togetherness and union. Pansies help evoke fond memories of our loved ones. It is believed if a pansy is placed over someone’s eyes while sleeping, upon waking that person will fall in love with the first person to appear.
The columbine symbolizes love, desire, faith, hope, charity, justice, temperance, prudence and fortitude.
Ferns symbolize sincerity towards others. It can also be a symbol of magic, fascination, confidence, shelter, discretion, reverie and a secret bond of love. Ferns are prehistoric living before the age of the dinosaurs!

If you see my tag words you will notice I use “biophilia”. Biophilia is the term coined by the Harvard naturalist Dr. Edward O. Wilson to describe what he saw as humanity's "innate tendency to focus on life and lifelike processes," and to be drawn toward nature, to feel an affinity for it, a love, a craving.
Humans throughout time have been compelled to assign symbolism to Mother Nature's amazing creationsfrom the stars to minerals. I just love that quality about us, I really do! I am a certified Biophilic how about you?
Wishing you a delightful weekend! Did you know dahlias symbolize devotion, love, beauty and dignity? Did you know that during Victorian times floriography was the trend to follow? What is floriography? It is the language of flowers. It was crucial to know what message you were sending with flowers, as some flower gifting had a negative message.
