Nymph Nirvana Before and After 2

BEFORE AND AFTER

Nymph NirvanaThis is a tree nymph butterfly. If a
butterfly crosses your path, it means good luck. In the Japanese culture
butterflies are thought to be representative of young maidens and marital
bliss. In ancient Greek the word for butterfly is "Psyche", which
translated means "soul". Butterflies also symbolize: Resurrection,
Transition, Celebration, Lightness, Time and Soul. Symmetry is another
manifestation of the balance of Yin and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i.

Perpetual Passion

Meditative Monday

Perpetual Passion - This design of columbine, red & lavender roses and bleeding hearts symbolize love, romance and seduction. The lavender rose symbolizes love at first sight. The red rose symbolizes true love. It is also a flower essence of the root chakra. The columbine symbolizes love and seduction and is linked to Freya the Norse goddess of love. The symbolism of the Bleeding Heart is undying love, grace and fidelity. It is a flower essence of the heart chakra. The essence of the bleeding heart flower is said to open up and strengthen the heart chakra, which in turn causes a person to feel emotionally soothed and open to the possibility of a new romance. It is thought to be especially useful after a heart break. These blossoms are also frequently used in love spells. Symmetry is another manifestation of the balance of Yin and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i.

Freaky Friday - Psychedelic Fun!

This is a yellow daisy and red Peruvian Lily design.  The flower symbolism associated with the daisy is purity, innocence, loyal love, beauty, patience and simplicity and new beginnings.  The Peruvian lily symbolizes friendship and devotion.

The word daisy comes from the Old English word dægeseage, meaning "day's eye".   The daisy was thus named because at night the petals close over the yellow center and during the day they re-open or “awaken”.  This is how the fun saying “as fresh as a daisy” was created; it infers that someone had a restful sleep.

There is a Celtic Legend about the death of an infant.  God sprinkled daisies all over the world when an infant passed to ease the parents suffering and to cheer them up.

The daisy is the sacred flower of the Norse Goddess of love, beauty and fertility, Freya.  The daisy embodies childbirth, motherhood and new beginnings.

The daisy is actually two flowers in one, called a composite flower.  The yellow center is called the disc floret and the outer petals are the ray floret.  Because they are actually two flower in one, blending it such beautiful harmony the also symbolize true love!
