Meditation Monday!

Meditative Musing
Third Eye Chakra – The pansy and the color Indigo are associated with the Third Eye chakra. When this chakra is unbalanced symptoms include creative block, and being unable to bond with dedication and sophisticated love. This color stimulates the senses when in balance you are compelled to one to follow the soul's path with trust. The key work is intuition; the ability to see things from a 'higher” viewpoint rather than through the ego of desire. The indigo energy connects the individual with the unconscious self, and offers the experience of Universal Wholeness. When in balance one is endowed with intuition, imagination and increased dream activity.

Crown Chakra - Violet is associated with the Crown charka. If this chakra is unbalance you suffer from a lack of clarity, materialism and avoidance. Once balanced you are focused and strong intuition. The color violet relates to self-knowledge and spiritual awareness. The highest potential of this energy is union with the Light Body. The violet energy connects us to our spiritual purification that may enhance focus and connection with meditation, yoga, dreams, and universal understanding

Other symbolisms: Purple is the most powerful visible wavelength of electromagnetic energy. It’s just a few steps away from x-rays and gamma rays. Perhaps this explains why purple is associated with supernatural energy and the cosmos than with the physical world as we know it. Purple lilacs symbolize the first emotions of love. The flower symbolism associated with the daisy is purity, innocence, loyal love, beauty, patience and simplicity. Pansy’s symbolize thoughtfulness, remembrance and love. The pansy is also a flower essence of the Third Eye Chakra.

That's Amore Before and After

BEFORE AND AFTER

That’s Amore - The Heart Chakra is associated with the color
green and the bleeding heart flower. If this chakra is unbalanced you
demonstrate co-dependency and neediness. You feel deserted and unloved.

The bleeding heart flower and the color green relate to love
and the ability to give and receive unconditionally. When your heart chakra is
balanced, you offer love freely learning to nurture yourself and others. You
feel at ease and experience soothing thoughts and feelings.

The flower symbolism of the Bleeding Heart is undying love,
grace and fidelity. The essence of the bleeding heart flower is said to open up
and strengthen the heart chakra, which in turn causes a person to feel
emotionally soothed and open to the possibility of a new romance. It is thought
to be especially useful after a heartbreak. These blossoms are also frequently
used in love spells. Symmetry is another manifestation of the balance of Yin
and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i.

Sunrise Sunset

Meditation Monday - Sunrise Sunset

As a Chakra -
The Sunflower is a flower essence of the Solar Plexus the third Chakra. In Sanskrit the name is “Manipura” with translates to the “city of jewels”. Yellow is the color associated with this chakra as well as the fire element and sense of light.

If your Solar Plexus is imbalanced you experience irritation, self-denial, integrity deficiency, apathy, confidence and unable to take control. Once you balance this chakra you are experience self-acceptance and feel in tune with the world.

Yellow relates to self worth and how we feel about ourselves and how others perceive us. This is the area of ego and will. Yellow offers clarity of thought, increases awareness, and stimulates curiosity.

Sunflower Symbolism -

The sunflower is the Greek symbol of Clytie, a water nymph, who turns into a sunflower after grieving over the loss of her love, Apollo. Clytie, now in the form of a sunflower, is always facing the sun, looking for Apollo's chariot to return in the hope she is reunited with her love. In Chinese symbolism, the sunflower represents long life, good luck and is considered very auspicious. It's yellow color signifies vitality and intelligence as well as happiness. Sunflowers also symbolize adoration, loyalty and longevity. Symmetry is another manifestation of the balance of Yin and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i

Celestial Chi Before and After

BEFORE AND AFTER WEDNESDAY

Celestial Chi - The Day of the Dead a.k.a. El Dia de los Muertos is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. During this time the sky over the Mexican mountain village of Anguangeo is strewn with flickers of fiery orange and browns. They are not from the colors of autumn leaves but from countless monarch butterflies concluding their journey to the hills covered in firs.
The locals believe the monarchs are the returning spirits of their deceased relatives, inexplicably returning the same time every year. The ancient Aztecs believe that the dearly departed souls return as hummingbirds and butterflies.

The Mandarin Chinese word for butterfly is "hu-tieh". "Tieh" means "70 years", therefore butterflies have become a symbol for a long life. In the Japanese culture butterflies are thought to be representative of young maidens and marital bliss. Butterflies also symbolize: Resurrection, Transition, Celebration, Lightness, Time and Soul. Symmetry is another manifestation of the balance of Yin and Yang, of the unimpeded flow of ch'i
